London’s Newest Boxing Club – BSBC
Friday evening saw the eagerly awaited launch of London’s newest boxing club, Bil Sha Boxing Club. The club’s launch saw many months of hard work from Bilat and his team come to fruition. Re:View played a key part in the launch, having started work on the project way back in January. Having worked with Bilat on his other business ventures and also his personal boxing website, the Re:View Team initially put some branding options and visualised what the club could look like at the start of the year.
Turning up to the club on Friday night was an absolute pleasure for the Re:View team as we finally got to see how Bilat had taken our visuals and ran with them throughout the club. From the branded boxing gloves and headgear to the ring with the BSBC ident in the middle to the bespoke reception desk, the whole gym had come together perfectly, giving the feel of an upmarket professional boxing gym.
Having spent considerable time designing the external graphics, we were over the moon with the job that Javed and his team from SIGNandART had done on the installation. The first site visit was back in April when the club was an empty shell. We got the initial measurements and photos to mock up our design from the site survey. We went with a full wrap of the building across all glass panels and metal cladding. With graphics continuing across multiple windows with the frames to be accounted for, we hadn’t made the installation easy, but the results were well worth it.
Re:View were also involved with designing multiple promotional items and some press ads to increase awareness surrounding the open day and the club itself. We were also developing the website alongside these items that needed to interact with the membership software. The website had a landing page to register interest and then launched on Friday ready for both the launch night and open day on Saturday.
Located on York Way, near Kings Cross, the boxing club is a stone’s throw from Coaldrops Yard and many of London’s corporate head offices (did I hear someone say google). The club is running youth classes (amongst many others) and aims to build a community-focused ethos around the gym, extending out into the local community. The club is in an ideal location to get the best from local residents and run corporate classes for the offices nearby.
Having worked with the team behind Bil Sha Boxing Club on other ventures, attending the launch meant we could catch up with other mutual clients, which stemmed from our ongoing relationship with Bilat. It was great putting faces to names with Gous, Jamie and Liam from Cloudeberry / Vimbi, who we have worked with recently, and catching up with the teams from Allen Goldstein and Sherlock Homes.
It is clear to see that the community spirit that Bilat is looking to foster within the club is already firing on all cylinders amongst his circle of trusted suppliers.
We wish Bil Sha Boxing Club all the best, but judging by the open day and initial interest, we can’t see anything but a resounding success on the cards.
